BigData@Heart – RATE-AF: Atrial Fibrillation
RATE-AF is an National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) funded study designed to compare two strategies of rate-control, based either on initial treatment with digoxin or beta-blockers in 160 patients with Atrial fibrillation (AF) in need for rate-control therapy.
Monitoring with wearable devices, phone sensors and questionnaires will be conducted over a continuous 6 month period. This work is additionally supported by the EU IMI2 BigData@Heart major programme
